We would like to thank you to all partner institutions from Albania, Bhutan, Indonesia, Mexico, Montengro, United States of America and Thailand. Our cooperation created the basis for future cooperation between the institutions. Also, we would like to thank you to all participants who take placed on Erasmus+ Cooperation with Third Countries project.

We hope, that ties which has been created, will to be kept as long as possible and they will bring us new cooperation across new fields of research, education and partnership between universities and individuals.

During the project period, several achievements had been achieved. Since the project contains four types of mobilities (of master students, of Ph.D students, teaching and training mobilities of academic staff) there are different aspects of mobilities.

From 4.5.2017 untill 16.5.2017 the Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava, prof. Ferdinand Daňo, Ph.D, vice-rector, prof. Rudolf Sivák, Ph.D, the coordinator of the Erasmus+ Cooperation with third countries programme, prof. Anetta Čaplánová, Ph.D and head of the Deparment of Economics, prof. Eva Muchová, Ph.D visited Royal Institute of Management in Thimpu. During the official visit of UEBA officials, the Bhutanese hosts were very kind and all the official delegation from UEBA very enjoyed the hospitality of the Bhutan country and RIM.

The Royal Government of Bhutan has 10 ministries which work in bringing the goal of Gross National Happiness closer to reality.

Bhutanese aproach to happiness is known worldwide. Officials from UEBA were participating in bilateral meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Forests and in the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources.

During the stay of UEBA officials, the goal of Gross National Happiness has been seen almost everywhere - all the people were calm, peacefull and happy. There are many ways how to Europe and Slovakia could profit from their approach.

On Tuesday 24th of January the Thai delegation from ICO NIDA came to visit UEBA. After short sightseeing tour around the university campus, the delegation met dean of the Faculty of National Economy. During the meeting, the implementation of the program was discussing between dean from the Faculty of National Economy and dean from ICO NIDA. . After very friendly and productive meeting, there was a short informal meeting in the new auditorium, where the main topic was differences between higher education system in Thailand and in Slovakia.

Assist. prof. Ivana Ognjanovic, PhD. and assist. prof. Ramo Šendelj visited our university within the Erasmus+ project for a few days. Their mobility was focused on teaching. Given their expertise they worked with colleagues of the Faculty of Economic Informatics. It was the opportunity for the students of this Faculty to experience, how these young, very dynamic and enthusiastic people teach. Both of them are focused on how to better link economics and statistical programs for the mutual benefit of both fields. Students therefore could experience a different approach, not only to teaching, but also learn new techniques and analytical methods.

Ivana Ognjanovic: "It is a great opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ cooperation with third countries  project, because Montenegro is not yet an EU member country, therefore,  it is a good way to start our involvement in this scheme this way.  We are very glad that we can also start a deeper cooperation with the University of Economics this way."

Three participants from Albania came for teaching or training mobility to our University. Dr. Elvira Fetahu visited for a teaching mobility,  her professional background is in Marketing and Management. Assist. prof.  Anila Cekrezi was teaching  on the Capital structure of Firms. And Assist. prof Nada Tapija came for a training mobility related to areas of  Human resources management. They spent  time with their counterparts  at UEBA, and also had the opportunity to get to know our city and engage themselves in social activities.

Three students from three different countries arrived to UEBA. They will work on their disertation thesis for next four months. Each of them received one supervisor, who is taking care about their dissertation thesis research. A PhD student from Indonesia, Trisakti University,  Ms. Hasnawati, a PhD student from the University of Elbasan Ms.  Doris Madhi and a PhD student from University of Montenegro Miloš Rajkovič are very excited about their mobility to Bratislava. We hope they will make good progress with their dissertation research.

On Thursday 26-th of October 2015, a seminar took place for future Erasmus plus projects for applicants 2015. As one of the first universities, which participate in the implementation, we were invited to present partial result amd experience from the implementation of the Erasmus plus KA2 project. The project was presented by prof. Čaplánova and our Thai students from our partner university NIDA, Niti and Vorrappa.

Our last partner RIM from Bhutan today sent us the signed inter-institutional agreement, and thus we concluded a signing marathon with a total of ten universities from seven countries. Now, we can move forward with the implementation of the project according the schedule.
